PlugPoint turns the documented plan from a clinic consultation into tracked actions, helping ensure investigations, results and follow-up don’t fall through the gaps.
Does PlugPoint make clinical decisions?
No. Clinical decisions remain with the clinician. PlugPoint extracts, checks, executes and tracks the documented plan.
Does it automatically order tests?
Only after clinician approval. In this demo, downstream EPR, ordering, booking and messaging systems are simulated.
What happens if a result doesn’t arrive?
The tracker flags it as overdue and alerts the requesting clinician. If nobody actions the alert within five days it escalates to the clinic consultant, and after another five to the service lead, so a loop cannot disappear because one person was away.
What is the clinic worklist for?
One board for the whole clinic: every open loop ranked by risk — appointment imminent with results outstanding, overdue, on hold, not closed, on track — with its owner, age and the same actions as the tracker. It is the Monday-morning view rather than the per-patient one.
Can I try my own clinic note?
Yes, with synthetic notes only: never paste real patient information. Edited or new notes are sent to Anthropic's API for extraction, and a few can be run per hour. Your demo state is private to your browser and is cleared after two hours of inactivity.
Is the AI trusted to get everything right?
No. AI handles language extraction. Deterministic checks and clinician approval provide separate safeguards before actions are executed.
